Ara : Former Chairman, Bihar Legislative Council and senior BJP leader, Awadhesh Narayan Singh, had a narrow escape on May 1, 2018, night, when a speeding truck dashed his vehicle near Dhobighatawa under Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur district, though his vehicle was completely damaged. Police seized the truck.
Singh said that he along with four of his supporters was en route his native village Sakhua in Bhojpur district from Patna on May 1 night. When he reached near Dhobighatawa under Nawada police station, a truck coming from opposite direction dashed his vehicle. Though all of them escaped unhurt,his vehicle was damaged.
