Ara : An FIR was lodged with Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur district, on April 28, 2018, against a youth for allegedly kidnapping a teenage girl.
SHO, Nawada police station, said that a 16 year old girl of Siddharth Nagar locality under Nawada police had come to Ara for the treatment of her mother and sister on April 9, 2018. After returning from the doctor’s place, they reached Bihari Mill under Nawada police station for transport.But, the girl was kidnapped from there. The family members searched for everywhere but failed to locate her.
Later, the family members got her location at Bhatdih under Mahuda police station in Dhanbad and reached there. People at Mahuda told them that the youth had brought three girls earlier but their whereabout was not known. The family members suspect that the youth, a friend of the girl, might have sold her. The SHO said that police were searching for the girl after lodging of an FIR and hoped that she would be recovered and the culprits would be arrested very soon.
