Man commits suicide at Bhojpur village after tiff with wife

Ara : Mohammad Kamran of village Lagwane in Bengal committed suicide by setting himself afire at village Songhatta under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district in the wee hour on April 28, 2018. Later, police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has also been lodged with Koelwar police station in this connection.

SHO, Koelwar police station, said that Md Kamran of Lagwane village under Gangani police station in Bengal had gone to village Songhatta under Koelwar police station to meet his wife on April 27, 2018, where his wife is a teacher at Songhatta Middle School. He went to see a dance programme at the village and retuned around midnight. As he entered the house, his wife started quarrelling with him. Anguished over the tiff, he sprinkled kerosene oil on his body and set himself ablaze.
