Bihar Govt transfers DMs of 20 districts

Patna : Bihar Government, in a major administrative reshuffle on April 27, 2018, transferred DMs of 20 districts. The reshuffle involved 45 IAS officers. The Government transferred DMs of Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Khagaria, Saharsa, Sheikhpura, Kaimur, Munger, Jamui, Vaishali, Sheohar, Katihar, Buxar, Lakhisarai, Madhepura, Samastipur, Sitamarhi, Rohtas, Siwan, Gopalganj, and Kishanganj districts.

Ravi Manubhai Parmar, an IAS officer of 1992 batch, has been appointed Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, on his return from central deputation. Mayank Varvade, an IAS officer of 2001 batch, has been appointed CMD, Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation, on his return from inter-cadre deputation. Dr Patima Satish Kumar, an IAS officer of 2002 batch and Commissioner, Commercial-Taxes, has been appointed Secretary, Commercia-Taxes Department, with additional charge of  Commissioner, Commercial-Taxes.

State Transport Commisioner with additional charge of Director, Information & Public Relations Department (IPRD) Anupam Kumar, an IAS officer of 2003 batch, has been shifted and appointed Director, IPRD, with additional charge of  Special Secretary, CM Secretariat. Director, Animal Husbandry, Radheyshyam Shah, an IAS officer of 2005 batch, has been shifted and appointed Additional Secretary, Health Department.

Bhagalpur DM Aadesh Titarmare, an IAS officer of 2006 batch, has been transferred and appointed State Transport Commissioner, Transport Department.

Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh, also an IAS officer of 2006 batch, too has been transferred and appointed Director, Employment & Training, Labour Resources Department. Pradip Kumar, Director, Co-operative Societies and an IAS officer of 2006 batch, has been transferred Joint Secretary, Prosecution Directorate, Home Department, replacing Ishwar Chandra Sinha os the same batch who has been appointed Joint SEcretary, Home Department.

DM, Khagaria, Jai Singh, an IAS officer of 2007 batch, has been shifted and appointed Director, Land Records and Measurement, Revenue & Land Reforms Department. Saharsa DM Vinod Singh Gunjiyal ( 2007 batch), too has been transferred and appointed Director, Animal and Fishery Resources Department. Sheikhpura DM Dinesh Kumar ( 2007) has been shiftd and appointed Director, Consumer Protection, Food & Consumer Protection Department.

DM,Kaimur,  Rajeshwar Prasad Singh, an IAS officer of  2007 batch, has. been transferred  and appointed Director, Finance & Statistics, Planning & DEvelopment Department, while Munger DM Uday Kumar Singh ( 2007) has been appointed Additional Secretary, Tourism Department. Sanjay Kumar Singh ( 2007), Additional Secretary, Health, has been shifted and appointed MD, Bihar Health Services Infrastructure Development Corporation He was holding additional charge of this corporation so far. Director, Primary Education, Education Department, M Ramchandrudu (2009), has been shifted and appointed Additional Secretary, Disaster Management Department.

Jamui DM Kaushal Kishore (2010 batch) has been transferred and appointed Joint SEcretary, Health Department while Vaishali DM Rachna Patil ( 2010) has been shifted and made Registrar, Co-operative Societies. DM Sheohar Raj Kumar ( 2010) has been appointed Director, Social Security, Social Welfare Department. Joint Secretary, Health Department, Dr Karuna Kumari ( 2010 batch), has been appointed Additional Executive Director, State Health Society.

Katihar DM Mithilesh Mishra ( 2011 batch) has been transferred and appointed IG ( Prisons), Home Department, while Buxar DM Arvind Kumar Verma ( 2012) has been appointed Director, Primary Education, Education Department. Lakhisarai DM Amit Kumar ( 2012 batch) has been appointed Joint Secretary, General Administration Department.

Special Secretary, Planning & Development Department, Ms Poonam ( 2005), has been shifted and appointed DM, Katihar, while Additional Secretary, Diaster Management Department, Aniruddha Kumar ( 2005), has been appointed DM, Khagaria.

Additional Secretary, Home Department, Chandrashekhar Singh ( 2006), has been transferred and appointed DM, Samastipur. MD, Bihar State Minority Development Corporation, Arshad Aziz ( 2006), has been appointed new DM of Sheohar. Shobhendra Kumar Chaudhary ( 2006), District Grievance Redressal Officer, Saharsa, has been appointed DM, Lakhisarai.

DM, Madhepura, Mohammad Sohail ( 2007), has been shifted and appointed DM, Muzaffarpur, replacing Dharmendra Singh. Samastipur DM Pranav Kumar ( 2008) has been shifted and appointed DM, Bhagalpur.

Additional Secretary, General Administration Department, Dr Ranjit Kumar ( 2008), has been appointed new DM of Sitamarhi replacing Rajiv Raushan ( 2010) who has been appointed DM, Vaishali.

Rohtas DM Animesh Kumar Parashar ( 2010) too has been shifted and appointed new DM of Gopalganj while Siwan DM Mahendra Kumar ( 2011) has been appointed new DM of Kishanganj. Gopalganj DM Rahul Kumar ( 2011) has been shifted and made new DM of Begusarai. DM Kishanganj Pankaj Dixit ( 2011) has been appointed DM, Rohtas.

DDC, Gaya,  Raghvendra Singh ( 2013 batch), has been appointed new DM of  Buxar while DDC, West Champaran, Yogendra Singh ( 2013), has been appointed new DM of Sheikhpura. DDC, Nalanda, Subrat Kumar Sen ( 2013), has been appointed new DM of Saran while DDC, Muzaffarpur, Shailja Sharma ( 2013), has been made new DM of Saharsa replacing Vinod Kumar Gunjiyal. DDC, Madhubani, Dharmendra Kumar ( 2013), has been shifted and appointed DM, Jamui.

DDC, Saharsa, Navdeep Shukla ( 2013), has been appointed DM, Madhepura, while DDC, Bhagalpur, Anand Sharma ( 2013), has been appointed new DM of Munger. DDC, Supaul, Nawal Kishore Chaudhary 2013) has been shifted and appointed DM, Kaimur.

Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Bhagalpur Sadar, Suharsh Bhagat ( 2015), has been shifted too and appointed SDO, Patna Sadar.
