New Delhi : Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi was on April 27, 2018, given additional charge of Governor, Manipur. The President of India is pleased to appoint Prof Jagdish Mukhi, Governor of Assam, to discharge the functions of the Governor of Manipur, in addition to his own duties, during the absence, on leave, of Dr Najma A Heptulla, Governor of Manipur, said a PIB release.
