Patna : Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) beat Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) by 13 runs in the 25th match of IPL this season at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on April 26, 2018, night, with Manish Pandey in 51 balls with 3 fours and a six and Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh scorin 28 in 29 balls with 3 fours. Yusuf Pathan remained not out on 21 with a four and a six.

Asked to bat by KXIP who won the toss, SRH scored 132/6 in 20 overs with Ankit Rajput taking 5/14 in 4 overs. KXIP were all out for 119 in 19.2 overs with openers Lokesh Rahul scoring 32 in 16 balls with 4 fours and a six and Chris Gayle scoring 23 in 22 balls with a four and 2 sixes. They were involved in a 55 run partnership for the first wicket. Karun Nair was out for 13 and Aaron Finch for 8. KXIP captain Ravichandra Ashwin made 4 runs.
