Police nab 4 persons with firearms from Buxar village

Buxar : Police on April 21, 2018, arrested four persons for allegedly demolishing houses of some persons in Budhanpurva locality and also seized three rifles, one pistol, a revolver, 78 live cartridges, four cellphones, one JCB and a tractor.

The arrested persons were identified as Brij Kishor Choubey alias Bantoo Choubey of Chhotaki Sarimpur, Ravi Kant Upadhayay alias Munna Upadhayay of Majharia, Priyavrat Dubey of Budhanpurva and Saroj Kumar (JCB driver) of Garhatha under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district. All the four arrested persons were sent to jail.

Buxar SP Md Abdullah said that about 40 armed persons along with JCB and tractor came reached village Budhanpurva under Bhrampur police station in Buxar district to capture lands of Nathuni Yadav. They also demolished some houses there. Meanwhile, someone informed police. A police team led by ASP Shaishav Yadav immediately swung into action and arrested four persons while others escaped from the spot.

A named FIR has been lodged with Brahmpur police station on the statement of Nathuni Yadav, land owner. against 15 persons. The names of other 11 named accused are: Babli Dubey, Sunil Rai, Harendra Kumar, Vivekanand Dubey, Manoj Dubey, Tinku Mishra, Sanjay Mishra of Mishravalia, Vikku Mishra of Shivpuri, Pintu Kumar of Padari, Vicky Tiwari of Dalsagar and Master of Budhanpurava. The SP said that these named accused are also wanted in some other cases. The SP said that a plot of 12 kattha at Budhanpurava has become a bone of contention since 2003 and a case is pending in the court.
