2 persons nabbed for stealing wheat bags from Goods train

Bagaha: Two persons identified as Indal Yadav and Lal Babu Prasad were caught red-handed from Khairpokhara railway station premises while stealing wheat bags from a bogie of a Goods train stranded at the station on Narakatiaganj-Gorakhpur section under Samastipur division of East Central Railways (ECR), Hajipur, on April 18, 2018, morning.

Superintendent, Khairpokhara railway station, Kural Kumar said that a gate man Kartik Rai saw the thieves stealing the wheat bags from the bogie and loading the same on an auto- rickshaw after which the Government Railway Police (GRP) were informed. The GRP arrested the thieves with four wheat bags. ASI, GRP, Narakatiaganj, Abid Alam said that the thieves were arrested with four bags of wheat and seized the autorickshaw without registration number.
