Patna : SRH defeated MI by one wicket in the 7th match of IPL at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, riding on 28 ball 45 with 8 fours by opener Shikhar Dhawan and an unbeaten 32 in 25 balls with one six and one four by Deepak Hooda. MI had scored 147/8 in 20 overs. SRH scored 148/9. The match went to wire as Billy Stanlake scored the winning run on the last ball of the 20th over bowled by Ben Cutting.

Credit to MI for making a match of it as at one stage SRH appeared to have a cake walk  having lost just two wickets for 77. MI’s Mayank Markande took 4/23 while Mustafizur Rahman took 3/24. Jasprit Bumrah took 2/32. MI had also lost their first match to CSK by 1 wicket. Markande had taken three wickets in the first match too.
