Police arrest 3 criminals in Rohtas, seize 6 bombs & car

Sasaram : Police on April 8, 2018, night, arrested three criminals and on their revelation seized half a dozen live bombs and a Scorpio near Basti Mor under Sasaram Town police station in Rohtas district on April 9. Two miscreants managed to escape from the spot  under the cover of darkness.

Rohtas SP Manavjeet Singh Dhillo said that he got information that some criminals had come to  Sasaram with a view to committing crime in the area. Police immediately swung into action and arrested three miscreants: Shahid Ahmad and Sayeed Ahmad of Bikramganj in Rohtas distric, and vehicle driver Ehraz,  a resident of Dinara village, around April 8 midnight.

The SP further said that two criminals escaped under the cover of darkness. He said that on  revelation of the arrested criminals, police seized half a dozen live bombs and a Scorpio near Basti Mor, which is close to Shershah Tomb, Sasaram, on April 9. The SP said that police were interrogating the three arrested criminals to know about the plan of the gang.
