Ara : Dhananjay Kumar, a school teacher, committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling of roof of his school hostel in Naiaka Tola locality under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district on March 30, 2018.
Later, police seized the body and brought the body over to the Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
ASP Dayashankar Singh said that Dhananjay Kumar, son of Moti Sah of Alampur, Sasaram, in Rohtas district, joined the DAV Public Sshool in Naiaka Tola locality under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district in 2017 as a science teacher. On March 30, he committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling of the roof of the school hostel, the ASP said.
Principal, DAV Public School, Jagdishpur, Sanjay Kumar, said that when Dhananjay did not come to school on March 30, he queried about him but he was not found anywhere not even at his residence. His brother told him that Dhananjay had come to his residence on March 29, 2018. He further said that he found his body hanging to the ceiling of the roof of the school hostel when he went there in connection with some work. He immediately informed ASP Dayashankar Singh.
