Muzaffarpur : With the onset of summer, a suspected case of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) has been reported from village Khairi under Banjaria police station in East Champaran district.
A two year old boy of village Khari suffering from AES Akash Kumar, son of Mukesh Manjhi, was admitted to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, on March 27, 2018, evening. He has been admitted to the PICU of SKMCH and is under treatment. The doctors say that the AES poses threat during summer.
