Doctor dies in accident at Bhojpur village

Ara: A doctor was crushed to death by a speeding four-wheeler near village Bhadwar under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district on March 15, 2o18, when he was going to his private clinic at Chandi. Later, police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

SHO, Chandi police station, said that Dr Pramod Kumar, 40, son of Mundrika Pandey of Kaudia Tola, Bihta, Bhojpur, ran his private clinic at Chandi. On March 15, he got down from a train at Kulharia railway station and was walking to his clinic on foot. When he reached near village Bhadwar, a speeding vehicle knocked him down and sped away. The doctor succumbed to his injuries on spot.
