Ara : RJD MLA from Barhara assembly constituency in Bhojpur district Saroj Yadav is in a tight spot as SHO, Nawada police station, Ara, Subodh Kumar, has submitted his inquiry report into allegations levelled against him by SHO, Charpokhari police station, Kuer Gupta, that he he had threatened him with dire consequences at Ara on November 23, 2015, in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ara, on March 9, 2018. SHO, Subodh Kumar, in his report, has found the complaint against the RJD MLA true.

SHO, Charpokhari police station, Kuer Gupta had lodged a ‘sanaha’ ( informatory) with the  Nawada police station on November 23, 2015, charging the Barhara RJD MLA with threatening him with dire consequences.

SHO Gupta had complained that the MLA along with SPO and SAP personnel came at a roundabout at Ara under Nawada police station in the evening on November 23, 2015, on a vehicle and compelled him to take action immediately against the somepersons in the murder of Mukesh Kumar of village Bardiha and also abused and threatened him with dire consequences. An inquiry was ordered into the matter. And after thorough investigation, police found the complaint correct and submitted their report in the court of the CJM.

Saroj Yadav, on the other hand, refuted all the charges and said that he only queried about police action and progress in the murder of Mukesh Kumar but police implicated him in false case. He said he has complete faith in court and expressed hope that the court would acquit him of all the charges.
