Darbhanga : A fast track court judge Arun Kumar Jha, 62, was killed after his car collided with the road divider on NH-57 and skidded off the road in Darbhanga district on March 4, 2018. His mother and wife, and the driver were seriously injured in the accident, according to additional Superintendent of Police Dilnawaz Ahmad. The injured were admitted to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital.J
ha was posted as fast track court judge at Khagaria on ad-hoc basis after retiring from Katihar civil court.
Jha was returning to Patna from his in-laws’ place at village Garatol in Madhubani district. The accident occurred between Bhalpatti and Muriya villages under Sadar police station, Darbhanga, according the SHO, Darbhanga Sadar police station. The place of occurrence falls under Bhalpatti police outpost, the SHO added.
