JAP activists squat on railway track at Ara

Ara : Hundreds of activists of the Jan Adkhikar Party (JAP) led by their district president Brajesh Kumar Singh took out procession on March 4, 2018, that passed through the main thoroughfares of Ara town and culminated at Ara railway station and paralyzed the movement of train in protest against the alleged irregularities at the SSC exam.

The JAP activists squatted on the railway track and also boarded the rail engine of the 3202 Dn Kural-Patna Lokmany Tilak Express at Ara railway station under Danapur division of the East Central Rail (ECR), Hajiipur,raisinged slogans against the government. As a result several long distance trains remained stranded at different railway stations causing a lot of problems to the passengers particularly women and children.

Speaking on the occasion, Brajesh Kumar Singh said that the government was working against the interest of students and the glaring example their indifferent attitude is leakage of SSC papers. He demanded CBI inquiry into the matter.

The GRP arrested dozens of activists of the JAP for illegal stoppage of the train at Ara railway station.
