46,404 examinees to appear at Matriculation exam in W Champaran

Bettiah : West Champaran district administration is ready to hold fair and peaceful matriculation examination at 32 examination centres in the district. Altogether 46,404 examinees including 20,798 girls will be apprearing at the examination at Bettiah, Narakatiaganj and Bagaha centres from February 21, 2018. The examination will be held in two sittings.

Sources said that examinees are banned from wearing shoes and socks and prohibitory order will remain enforced within 500 yards of the examination centres. Gathering of five persons or more near the centres will be completely banned. Adequate number of static and patrolling forces under magistrates will be deployed at every centre. The examination centres will be equipped with CCTV cameras to prevent use of unfair means by the examinees at the  examination halls.

West Champaran DM Nilesh Ramchandra Deore had called a meeting on February 20, 2018, to review the preparations made for the examination in the district. All officials concerned officials including SP, West Champaran, Jayant Kumar, SP, Bagaha Police district, A K Gupta attended the meeting. The use of mobile phones is not allowed except for by Centre superintendent and videography will be done in and around the centre. Photo copier shops near the examination centres remain closed.
