Patna : Akshay Kumar, RadhikaApte and Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Padman’ has grossed a business of nearly Rs 41 crore in three days since its release on February 9, 2018, on 2,700 screens across the country. The R Balki directorial social drama related to menstrual hygiene did a business of about Rs 17 crore on its third day on February 11, 2018.
If Padman reaches Rs 100 crore mark, it will be 9th film of Akshay Kumar to do so. Akshay Kumar’s last film ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ was a major hit of 2017. The film is based on real life story of Arunachalam Muguganantham, Tamil Nadu, who developed a machine to produce low cost sanitary napkins.
