Ara: Due to the joint efforts of the Department of Arts, Culture and Youth Affair and Bhojpur district administration, sports competition at district level for women and school children will be held from July 3 to July 7, 2016. Bhojpur District Magistrate Birendra Prassad Singh will inaugurate the competition at Veer Kuer Singh Stadium. All arrangements have been made for making the event a grand success. The DM appealed the students, sportsmen and others to cooperate with organisers.
District Sports Officer Sanjay Kumar said that badminton, wrestling, different styles of martial arts, Kho-kho, Kabaddi, Handball, football, chess and athletics competition will be held during five day district level sports competition at different playground.
