200 cartons of IMFL, Truck, Bolero seized in Muzaffarpur, 1 held

Muzaffarpur : Prohibition and Excise Department sleuths seized 200 cartons of IMFL worth about Rs 50 lakh and seized a 10 tyre truck and a Bolero from Chandpur under Deoria police station in Muzaffarpur district on February 4, 2018, night.

Excise Superintendent, Muzaffarpur, Deenbandhu, said the department officials were trying to identify the persons who had placed oder for supply of such a huge consigment of foreign liquor. Deenbandhu said that driver of Bolero Vijay, who had unloaded a part of the consigment and carrying them on his vehicle, had been arrested. The truck had come Haryana, he said. Deoria is 40 km away from Muzaffarpur.
