Patna : Patna Met office on January 27, 2018, forecast dense to very dense fog in major parts of Bihar on January 28 morning except for places like Aurangabad, Rohtas and Kaimur. Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnia cities may witness fog or mist in the morning and mainly clear sky later on January 28, said sources at the met office said.

The weather remained foggy at Patna and other parts of the state on January 27 due to snowfall in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on January 26. Gaya registered a lowest minimum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius followed by 7.7 degrees Celsius at Patna, 9.3 degrees Celsius at Purnia and and 10.2 degrees Celsius at Bhagalpur on January 27.

The maximum temperature of Gaya was recorded at 25.4 degrees Celsius followed by 23.1 degrees Celsius at Patna, 22.6 degrees Celsius at Bhagalpur and 22 degrees Celsius at Purnia.
