Patna : Ashok Kumar Singh, an IAS officer of 2006 batch and Additional SEcretary, Tourism Department, Bihar Government, was January 5, 2018, allowed by the state government to take voluntary retirement from April 30, 2018, under Rule 16 (2) of All India Services Rules 1958. Ashok Kumar Singh had submitted an application seeking voluntary retirement with effect from April 30, 2018. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on January 5 itself.
