30 bottles of countrymade liquor seized in Bagaha

Bagaha : Pathakauli Police Outpost Incharge Subash Mukhia and Prohibition and Eexcise Inspector BK Singh jointly conducted raid behind Bhargav Complex under Ward Number 9 of Nagar Parishad, Bagaha, and seized 30 bolltes of countrymade liquor of 180 ml each. The liquor was lying hidden in a gunny bag.

Police sources said that someone wanting to implicate his neighbour in a case had called Police and Excise Department personnel about storage of liquor in the area. When Police and Excise Department personnel reached the spot and seized the liquor and started investigation, they found that one Arjun Prasad, who wanted to harass his neighbour Braj Kishore Mishra had called Police and Excise personnel to teach him a lesson but he was exposed. A case of seizure of unclaimed liquor was registered under the Prohibition and Excise Act.
