Police bust sex racket at Bihia hotel, 5 arrested

Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at Arvindam Hotel at Bihia Bazaar under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district, around 10pm on November 21, 2017, and arrested two youth and two young women, one of them married, from two different rooms of the hotels. Police also arrested the owner of the hotel Lal Babu Prasad besides seizing some objectionable articles and register of the hotel.

Inspector Sanjay Kumar Sinha said that police got information that a sex racket was being run from  Arvindam Hotel at Bihia Bazaar. He along with police force immediately conducted raid at the Hotel and arrested two youth: Raj Kumar Gupta of Shital Tola under Town police station, Ara, and Enamul Haque of village Tipura under Bihia police station, along with two women from two different rooms of the hotel.

The Inspector said that police recovered condoms and other objectionable articles from the two rooms and seized the register or the hotel and also arrested the owner of the hotel. He said that the owner of the hotel provided rooms to such youth and girls at Rs 600 per two hours. He said that police were scrutinising the seized register to identify other such customers of the hotel.
