Patna : The first cricket test between India and Sri Lanka at Enden Gardens, Kolkata, ended in a draw on Novemember 20, 2017. Set a target of scoring 231 runs in their second innings to win the first test, Sri Lanka were 75/7 in 26.3 overs when play was stopped due to bad light. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar was declared Man of Match for taking 8 wickets in the match.

In Sri Lanka’s second innings, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar took 4/8 while Mohd Shami took 2/34. Umesh Yadav also took one wicket. India captain Virat Kohli made 104 not out in the test, his 18th test ton and 50th international century. Sachin Tendulkar has scored 51 centuries in test matches and 49 in ODIs.
