Patna : India declared their second innings at 352/8 with Captain Virat Kohli unbeaten on 104, his 18th test century,  before tea on the fifth day of first cricket test against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on November 20, 2017. Set a target of 231 runs to win the first test, Sri Lanka were 2/2 in 4.3 overs in their second innings. Both Mohd Shami and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar took one wicket each.  India had scored 172 in the first innings while Sri Lanka made 294. Kohli hit his century with a six off pacer Suranga Lakmal.
