David Goffin stuns Nadal in ATP world tour finale in London

Patna : World Number 1 tennis player Rafael Nadal, 31, on November 13, 2017, night, pulled out of the ATP tour finals after suffering a shock defeat at the hands of David Goffin, Belgium, in his first Group A round robin match at 02 Arena, London. Goffin defeated Nadal 7-6, 6-7, 6-4 in a thrilling encounter. Nadal, who has never won the ATP finals, the season finale event, pulled out due knee injury he suffered during ATP Paris Masters recently. He had to pull out from the ATP Paris Masters as well after reaching the quarter final.
