New Delhi : PM Narendra Modi has expressed grief on the demise of famous actor Tom Alter, 67, and recalled his contribution to the film world and theatre. The Prime Minister also extended condolences to the family and admirers of Tom Alter.
The American born Indian actor Tom Alter died on September 29, 2017, night, at his Mumbai home. He had acted in several films including Gandhi, Kranti, Parinda, Ashiqui, Junoon, Ram Teri Ganga Maili, and Shatranj Ke Khiladi. He was last seen in film Sargoshiyan. He had also ated in several TV shows including Bharat Ek Khoj and Zaban Sambhal Ke. He had a great career on stage as well. He was suffering from skin cancer.
