Police probing into rape bid on girl by 2 persons at Sonbersa Raj Bazaar

Saharsa : Mahila Police Station, Saharsa, is inquiring into kidnapping of a girl of Sonbersa Raj Bazaar under Sonbersa Raj police station by two car borne persons who made an abortive bid to outrage her modesty near the new bus stand on August 27, 217, night, but escaped due to arrival of her father and brother. The girl returned home safely with her father and brother.

The father of girl  lodged an FIR with Mahaila Police Station in this connection demanding immediate arrest of the two accused. The girl told police that she was kidnapped by Shekhar Chaudhary and his friend at gun point in a Scorpio on August 27 night when she was searching for her goat which had ran away from the home. She alleged that when she reached near the temple Shekhar Chaudhary reached there with his friend on his black Scorpio and forcibly pushed her into the car and took her to new bus stand and tried to outrage her modesty at gun point threatening to kill her father and brother. Fortunately, her father and brother reached the place and seeing them the two accused escaped.

SHO, Mahila Police Station, Saharsa, Aarti Singh, said that police were investigating into the allegation and take appropriate action on the basis of findings of the probe.
