Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Jharkhand Revenue and Tourism minister Amar Boury will be the chief guest at Independence Day function to be held at Jharkhand armed police ground at sector 12, Bokaro Steel City.
Giving this information to mediapersons on August 8, 2017, Bokaro Deputy Commissioner (DC) R M Ray said that preparations were on in full swing. As per the DC besides district police, para military force jawans including that of CRPF and CISF with fire brigade cops will also participate in the parade. In the parade, tableau of social welfare programme being carried by district administration shall also be shown to people.
As per the DC, after taking Guard of Honor and inspecting the parade, the minister will honour few persons including sportspersons who have brought laurels to the district. Rehearsal of the Independence Day parade is going on, informed the DC.
