Sitamarhi: A grocery trader Amritesh Kumar, 30, was shot dead by two motorbike borne unidentified criminals on late August 1, 2017, evening in Shantinagar colony in Sitamarhi town. He was at his grocery shop when the criminals reached there and shot him in head and arm.
Amritesh died on the spot. He was a resident of village Singwahini under Sonbarsa block in Sitamarhi district in North Bihar and was married four years back. The incident has triggered panic among the residents of Shantinagar. No one has been arrested in this connection so far. Sitamarhi is about 138 km away from Patna.
