400 kg Ganja seized from truck in fresh search

Muzaffarpur : The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Vaishali Excise Department, after taking permission from court, on July 20, 2017, again jointly searched the truck, from which they had seized 175 kg Ganja on July 18, and recovered almost 400 kg Ganja. The Ganja was hidden in a  cabin above the driver’s seat indicating the truck was not thoroughly searched on July 18.

The truck was searched again as the NCB had recived information that the truck was carrying 600 kg of Ganja but they could seize only 175 kg Ganja on July 18. The seized Ganja would be produced before a Hajipur court on July 21. The truck was coming from Odisha when it was seized near Majhouli on state higways in Vaishali district on July 18.
