Bagaha : SDM, Bagaha, Dharmendra Kumar on July 18, 2017, said that the reports of the teams constituted to inquire into genuineness of PDS grains consumers under Bagaha sub- division in West Champaran district had revealed that a large number of families not eligible to lift subsidised ration from PDS shops had been getting it for long.
In the Majhauya panchayat under Bagaha-1 block, 80% families were found ineligible during the inquiry. The SDM said that show cause notices have been served on many such persons. He said that if any person wants his name to be included in the list of consumers, he must submit an affidavit.
