Motihari : Unidentified criminals carrying firearms including AK 47 shot dead a Grocery Store owner Indrajit Jaiswal on Dhaka Road near Chataouni Chowk, Motihari, in East Champaran district around 10 pm on July 17, 2017. The criminals also threw a paper on the spot with `Dipak Paswan Zindabad’ written over it throwing a challenge to police.
The criminals fired 12 rounds on Indrajit killing him on the spot. Indrajit owned `Raj Kirana Store'. Police seized several empty cartrideges from the place of occurrence. Police are investigating into the incident to arrest the criminals but are yet to make any breakthrough.The murder of trader Indrajit has created panic among the traders at Motihari. Criminals openly demand `Rangdari’ (extortion) from traders.
