Muzaffarpur : DIG, Tirhut Range, Anil Kumar Singh, has directed SPs of all the districts under the range to check crime. He has also asked them to take stern action against police officials found lax in duty.
Muzaffarpur SSP Vivek Kumar said that during raids conducted since June 29 , 2017, night, till June 30 noon under a special drive altogether 173 persons were detained of which 44 persons having criminal antecedents were sent to jail. The SSP said that police also carried out search of different hotels located in urban areas on June 29 night.
