CDPO asks Buxar DM to mind his words at meeting

Buxar : Buxar DM Raman Kumar faced an awkward situation at a review meeting with Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) and Doctors on June 9, 2017, evening,  when a Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Kavita Kumari allegedly asked him to mind his language. The DM ordered her to get out of his chamber.

During the meeting, Buxar DM Raman Kumar allegedly called the CDPO, Chausa block in Buxar district, Kavita Kumari,  ‘fool’. The word hurt the CDPO and she asked the DM to mind his words. At this the DM flared up and asked her to immediately leave his chamber. The CDPO replied that she did not wish to attend the meeting of such rustic DM and she was leaving the chamber herself, sources said. But, DM Kumar on June 10, 2017, strongly denied any such incident. Nothing like that happened at the meeting, the DM said.

The meeting took an unpleasant turn when the DM asked the Chausa CDPO to show report of her block. The CDPO was not present at the last review meeting of the DM hence could present the report. In the meantime, the DM addressed the CDPO Kavita Kumari ‘fool’ thrice which prompted the CDPO to ask the DM to mind his words.
