Ara : Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, administration sought an explanation from the Principals of 15 constituent and affiliated colleges why they had not provided data including college profile and fund utilisation for the 2016-2017 fiscal despite several reminders. The university administration has asked them to submit the data within three days failing which their affiliation will be cancelled.
Human Resource Department, Government of India, had sought data from all the constituent and affiliated colleges under the VKSU for the 2016-2017 fiscal under All India Survey Of Higher Education. The data were to be uploaded on the MHRD portal for the universities but at least 15 constituent and affiliated colleges under the VKSU did to send data to the university.
The colleges that did not submit data are: D K S College, Dumari, Buxar, G B Girls Vidya Peeth, Ramgarh, A B R College, Sasaram, V K S College, Dharupur, M M D Y L Devi Mahila College, Bikramganj, Rohtas Law College, Narayanpur Medical College, Mata Manjharo Ajab Dayal Singh Teachers’ Training College, APSM College of Education, S R S BEd College, Dalsagar, Dr Arvind Teachers’ Training College, Edaura, Sarvodaya B Ed College, Karoop, G D Mishra Institute of Higher Studies, Buxar, Guru Prakar B Ed College, Kaimur, Matri Prem College of Education, Chilhari.
Registrar, VKSU, Manoj Kumar, on May 20, 2017, sought an explanation within three days from the Principal, Matri Prem College of Education, Chilhari, why he had not submitted the data to the VKSU. The Principal did not reply to any of the four letters sent to him earlier seeking the data of the college under All India Survey of Higher Education.
