2 BJP leaders of Buxar arrested on boozing charge

Ara : Bhojpur police arrested two BJP leaders of Buxar district in a drunken state under Dhangai police station area on Ara-Mohania NH 30 on April 20, 2017, evening when they were returning after attending a marriage. Police brought them over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and forwarded them to jail after the doctor confirmed they had boozed.

SHO, Dhangai police station, Munindra Kumar, said that Kamlesh Singh of Shivpur under Nawanagar police station in Buxar district and Buxar district president, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), and Manoj Singh of Kesath under Nawanagar police station and BJP block president, Brahmpur, had gone to attend a marriage at Nawada Ben village near Karisath in Bhojpur district from Mahadevganj in Buxar district. They took liquor there and were returning to Mahadevgnaj but police arrested them on way. Both the leaders allegedly also misbehaved with the police personnel.
