College girl kidnapped at Saharsa

Saharsa : Some armed youth kidnapped a college girl Shilpi on April 1o, 2017, afternoon, when she was going to market from her Marufganj Road residence, Saharsa, to buy note-book. The girl is a BA Part I student of Ramesh Jha Mahavidyalaya, Saharsa. Her father Parmeshwar Tiwary, in an FIR lodged with Sadar Police Station, Saharsa, alleged that the youth had kidnapped his daughter to sale her.

Tiwary alleged that three youth: Avinash Kumar Chaudhary, Basant Sah and Rahul Gupta, always teased her and passed lewd comments while going or returning from college and he had complained to Avinash’s father about it but he and his family members rebuked him. When his daughter did not return home from market till late April 10 evening, the entire family got worried and started searching for her during which they came to know that Avinash had allegedly kidnapped her in a Centro car at gun point to sale her.

SHO, Sadar police station, Bhai Bharat, said that an FIR had been lodged on the statement on Tiwary and the case IO Jitendra Kumar Pandey had been directed to recover the girl and arrest the accused at the earliest. The SHO claimed the girl would be recovered soon.
