CPI(ML) Satyagrah demanding land reforms concludes

Bagaha : The three – day Satyagrah  of West Champaran unit of CPI(ML) for land right staged at BR Ambedkar statue near sub-divisional headquarters, Bagaha, concluded on March 31, 2017, collecting statements of over 1,500 families residing on ceiling , Gairmajaruwa and forests land and tilling such land for decades despite the Acts being in their favour. But, they are still deprived of land purchas  under Bagaha sub -division.

President of Khet Gramin Majdoor Sabha and CPI(ml) state committee member Birendrar Gupta on March 31 said that a memorandum addressed to the Chief minister was handed over to the SDM, Bagaha, containg 13 point demand including implementation of recommendations D Bandopadhyay Commission for land reform.
