Ranchi (Jharkhand) : Working on confidential information,police arrested hardcore naxalite Soma Munda from Khunti—Tamar road, falling in Khunti district, about 45 km away from Ranchi in Jharkhand, on March 30, 2017. Soma Munda was carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head. He was involved in more than one dozen cases of murder, loot and other crime in Khnuti and Ranchi district. Police also recovered Rs 50,000 cash collected as levy from few persons from Munda’s possession. Khunti SP Ashwini Kumar Sinha confirmed the arrest adding that investigation on to arrest his other associates.
