Saharsa : A teacher of SNSRKS College, Saharsa, Vinod Kumar Singh, who was seriously injured after a speeding bike rider rammed him infront of Power House located on the southern side of the airstrip under Sadar police station, Saharsa, on Mach 26, 2017, morning, succumbed to his injuries near Agwanpur Agriculture College while being taken to Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH). Professor Singh was a resident of New Colony, Saharsa.
Prof Singh was returning home after morning walk when the speeding bike dashed him. The locals rushed him to Saharsa Sadar Hospital where the doctors referred him to PMCH in view of his critical condition. The body was handed to family members after post-mortem at Saharsa Sadar Hospital. Police seized the bike and arrested its driver.
The marriage of Prof Singh’s son Sandip is scheduled for May 31, 2017, and that of his daughter Supriya for June 5, 2017. Police seized the bike and arrested its driver.
