Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on January 29 mixed with the people of sauch mukta village Ub under Obra block in Aurangabad village and discussed with them the ongoing projects under `Saat Nischay’ including schemes to provide `har ghar nal ka jal’ and `har ghar bijlee’. He was satisfied after to the rural folks.

Kumar also inaugurated newly constructed Panchayat Sarkar Bhawan there. Addressing the gathering, the CM said  that one has to face problems while implementing any scheme at ground level. Later, everything becomes normal, he said adding that all the announcements made before the formation of the government in the state would be implemented at any cost.

Nitish said that the state government would provide electricity to each house by 2017. He said that after reaching Aurangabad, he went to see `Paramarsh Kendra’. Earlier, 13 % of 12th pass students used to move outside for higher education, he said adding that the state government now provides students’ credit cards and a loan of Rs 4 lakh for education. This has also increased the percentage of educated persons in the state, he pointed out. Nitish said that the state government would provide Rs. 1,000 every month for two years as self-assistance allowance to students who have to go outside for appearing at interviews for jobs.

He said that the state government has also started Kaushal Yuva Yojana to impart computer education. Under this project, the youth would undergo training for over 240 hours and get jobs after that, the CM said adding that the objective behind his Nischay Yatra was to know whether the people were getting the benefits of the schemes launched by the state government. Talking about prohibition, the CM said that the environment in the state had changed completely after ban on sale of liquor in Bihar. Males are now bringing vegetables for their houses in the evening, he pointed out adding that the people of Bihar created a history by making human chain and 4 crore people participated in it.

Nitish urged the people to keep an eye on people still trying to smuggle liquor into Bihar either from Jharkhand or other  states to defame the state government. He also appreciated Aurangabad DM Kawal Tanuj for implementing his `Saat Nischay’ in the district.
