Patna : Covid-19 cases rose to 2,62,160 in Bihar on February 21, 2021, as 94 more persons including 23 from Patna, 13 from Aurangabad, 9 from Nawada, 4 each from Vaishali, East Champaran, Purnia, 3 each from East Champaran, Khagaria, Munger, Nalanda, and Saharsa, and 2 each from Banka, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Gaya, Kaimur, Muzaffarpur, Saran, and Supaul, tested positive for the pandemic on February 20, 2021. The state had recorded only 57 new Covid-19 cases on February 19, 2021.
Of the 2,62, 160 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,60,088 patients have been declared cured including 58 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.21% on February 21, 2021. The number of active cases increased to 536 in Bihar on February 21, 2021. The number of active cases in the state was 501 on February 20, 2021. The state has tested 2,22,19,581 samples so far including 31,877 samples on February 20, 2021.

The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,535 in Bihar on February 21, 2021, with 1 new deaths being recorded in Patna in last 24 hours. With this, the toll increased to 440 in Patna on February 21, 2021. The number of active cases in Patna was 220 on the day.
