New Delhi :  Coronavirus(COVID-19) patients getting cured/discharged is rising at a rapid pace in India reaching 91,818 at 8 am on June 1, 2020, an increase of 4,835 during last 24 hours.  Coronavirus death toll has also jumped to 5,396 in India with 232 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country during last 24 hours.

Maharashtra alone accounts for 2,286 deaths followed by Gujarat with 1,038 deaths. The Coronavirus death toll in Delhi has jumped to 473 followed by 350 deaths in MP and 317 deaths in West Bengal.

COVID-19 death toll break-up is : Maharashtra (2,286), Gujarat (1,038), Delhi (473), MP (350), West Bengal (317), UP (213), Rajasthan 9194), Tamilnadu (173),  Telengana (82), Andhra Pradesh (62), Karnataka (51), Punjab (45),  J&K (28), Bihar (23), Haryana (20), Kerala (9), Odisha (7), Himachal Pradesh (5), Jharkhand (5), Uttarakhand (5), Assam (4), Chandigarh (4), Chhattisgarh (1), and Meghalaya(1).

Altogether 29,329 COVID-19 patients have been cured in Maharashtra while 12,757 patients have been cured in Tamilnadu and 8,478 patients have been cured in Delhi. In Gujarat, 9,919 patients have been declared cured while in UP 4,709 patients have been cured. In Bihar, 1,710 patient have been declared cured while in Jharkhand 256 patients have been cured. In West Bengal, 2,157 patients have been cured.
