9 year old girl raped at Bhojpur village, accused jailed

Ara : Modesty of a nine year old girl was outraged by one Munna Chaudhary at Khyali Tola under Ayar police station in Bhojpur district on July 20, 2018, afternoon, when she was sleeping at her house. Police arrested accused Munna Chaudhary, son of Shyambali Chaudhary of Dehri Tola under Agiaw Bazaar police station in Bhojpur district, and sent him to jail. Later, police brought the survivor to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for medical examination.

SHO, Ayar police station, said that the girl was sleeping on the terrace of her house at Khayali Tola under Ayar police station while other members of the family were sleeping inside the house in the afternoon on July 20.

Seeing the girl sleeping alone, Munna Chaudhary who lived with his aunt, tied the mouth of the girl and outraged her modesty, the SHO said. He also threatened her with dire consequences if she dared say anything in this regard. But the girl narrated her ordeal to her parents. Her parents immediately informed police and lodged a named FIR against Munna Chaudhary. Police immediately swung into action and arrested Munna Chaudhary. Police would produce the girl before the court on July 21, 2018, to get her statement registered under section 164 CrPC.
