8 year old girl raped at Bihta, Patna

Patna: An eight year old girl was allegedly raped by one Guddu at Bihta in Patna district on Tuesday when  she was returning home from her school. The accused forcibly lifted the girl, took her to an isolated place, and sexually assaulted her. Police arrested, Guddu, a native of village Painal, within hours of the incident and registered a case against him under POSCO Act. The survivor was admitted to hospital in a precarious condition. Her statement under section 164 of CrPC would be recorded after she recovers.
