New Delhi : The COVID-19 patient getting cured/discharged in India rose to 37,02,595 at 8 am on September 13, 2020, an increase of 78,399 during last 24 hours, exceeding the number of active cases in a country by a huge margin of 27,29,420. A record 81,533 COVID-19 patients were declared cured on September 12, 2020. The country has tested 5,62,60,928 COVID samples so far including 10,71, 702 samples on September 12, 2020.
India has reported 47,54,356 COVID cases so far including 94,372 new cases reported during last 24 hours of which 37,02,595 have been declared cured/discharged with the recovery rate being 77.88%. The number of active cases in the country was 9,73,175 on September 13, 2020, which is 20.47% of the total cases reported till date.
The COVID-19 death toll, on the other hand, has jumped to 78,586 in India with 1,114 new deaths being reported from different pats of the country during last 24 hours including 391 from Maharashtra, 94 from Karnataka, 73 from Andhra Pradesh, 67 from UP, 59 from West Bengal, 76 from Punjab, 28 from Delhi, 15 from Gujarat, 14 from Rajasthan, 76 from Tamilnadu, and 37 from MP. The Case Fatality Rate had dropped to 1.65% in the country on September 13, 2020, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
The COVID-19 death toll break-up in India on September 13, 2020, is : Maharashtra (29,115), Tamilnadu (8,307), Karnataka (7,161), Delhi (4,715), Andhra Pradesh (4,846), Uttar Pradesh (4,349), West Bengal (3,887), Gujarat (3,195), Madhya Pradesh (1,728), Rajasthan (1,221), Punjab (2,288), Telengana (961), J&K (864), Haryana (956), Bihar (808), Odisha (616), Jharkhand (542), Assam (453), Uttarakhand (402), Kerala (425), Chhattisgarh (539), Puducherry (370), Goa (286), Tripura (194), Chandigarh (92), Andaman & Nicobar (51), Himachal Pradesh (73), Ladakh (39), Manipur (45), Nagaland (10), Meghalaya (25), Arunachal Pradesh (10), Sikkim (11), and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu (2 ).
