Ara : In a horrible incident, modesty of a seven year old girl was outraged at village Kathari under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district on March 21, 2018, morning, when she had gone to the field to attend call of nature. Police arrested the accused and admitted the girl to Ara Sadar Hospital where her condition is stated to be critical. Later, police forwarded the arrested accused to jail.
SHO, Charpokhari police station, Ashok Kumar Singh said that the seven year old girl had gone to the field to attend call of nature when a married youth tied her mouth and took her to an isolated place where he outraged her modesty and when she fell unconscious, he fled away from the place. As her family members came to know about the incident, they informed police about it. It was the second incident of rape of a girl at the village during last 48 hours.
