Ara : Seven inmates of Ara jail were shifted to Buxar Central Jail on January 10, 2019. Niranjan Pandit, Ara Jail Superintendent, said that with a view to maintaining law and order 7 inmates of Ara jail including Pappu Giri and Firoz Khan were shifted to the Buxar Central jail.
They were shifted to Buxar Jail on the direction of the IG (Prisons). Pandit said that 12 more inmates of Ara Jail would be shifted to another jail very soon. Earlier, at least a dozen inmates of Ara jail were shifted to Buxar Central jail about two months ago on the same ground.
